In these busy times with high workrelated or privat demands (from your enviroment or yourself), taking some time to deal with all the stress is not a luxury.
The starting point for my stress management is that chronic stress / burnout starts with psychosocial events, but also is anchored physically and has taken on a life of its own. Learn to listen to your own bodies, but also to the thoughts that you have about your symptoms and your social reality is crucial for recovery. Your own thoughts can make a pretty clear stumbling block. Admitting to your vulnerability of this moment and to accept this is the basis for recovery.
Over the years I developed a step-by-step process for people who suffer from chronic stress, burnout or (serious) fatigue. The process starts with a 'strressassessment which focuses on the body and mental aspects. Then a personal trajectory will be drawn with regard to dealing with the current stress, relaxation, movement and worries. You will be directed to behavior, feelings and thoughts that help you get out of the vicious circle.
Health Management is coaching people in changing unhealthy lifestyles. In most cases we have the knowledge about how to live healthy, but often we lack the proper motivation, time and priority.
Perhaps the most common health obstacles of this time (besides stress):
• too much sitting; too little exercise
In helping people with their overweight, I sometimes have to kick down sacred cows such as "you should eat at least three times a day" or "breakfast is the most important meal of the day." If you really want to lose weight you need to increase energy consumption, but also have the courage to breaking down the reserves. For example, this can be done by fasting.
But tackling overweight only makes sense if your weight control is an integral part of your life and not a temporary diet or fasting.
The weightcontrol only succeeds if you do let your weight control you. Changing your mindset is the core of my approach. The process starts with maintaining your weight followed by learning to resist temptations by making them aware in time. Then I learn you how to fast and the kind of exercizes which burns the most fat; and how you can monitor the amount of movement.
